Did you know?

Won't YOU help the Key Clubs raise money by using Goodsearch as your internet search engine?  Key Club International is registered as a recipient of funding from YAHOO, and each time we use www.goodsearch.com as our search engine (not your home page, just your search engine), Key Club International receives 1 cent!!!  It doesn't cost you anything, YAHOO is a very reputable internet provider, their search engine is fast, and you can help our Key Clubbers.  The first time you use it, you'll see a place to specify Key Club International (it's about in the middle of the page, and says "Who Do You GoodSearch For?".  Merely type in "Key Club International" and they will remain there as the default funds recipient until you change it.  Try it, and help the kids!!!

Board of Directors

President- Brian Hanis
As our President it is Brian's job to direct our club. He must oversee the operations and delegate the responsibilities to ensure our club remains a top-notch service club.
 President-Elect - Marti Reeder
As President-elect it is Marti's job to prepare herself for President next year. She must listen and learn from past and present presidents, members and the public. She must support the efforts of the President. Congrats go for two years in a row. She's the number one real estate agent (voted by the people) in Kent.

Vice- President - Janet Stebbins

Janet's job as Vice-President is to prepare herself for next year's President- Elect position and then the President position in the following year.  Janet is just the type of person we need as President. She's well known for her honesty, hard work ethic that will surely lead our club into the future.
She has served us well as our clubs treasurer and she will serve us well...eventually as president.

Secretary - Carol Haigood -
Carol's job is one of the most important jobs in the club. In Kiwanis, the unsung hero is the club secretary. Her role is to handle club affairs, such as looking after all details of the club and board meetings, do all reports, inform of dues to be collected, answer correspondence and keep records up to date. Her job is all important if the club is to continue to run smoothly. The importance of the club secretary cannot be overemphasized. There has yet to be a successful Kiwanis club with a disinterested or ineffective secretary. We are all so glad we have Carol.

Treasurer - Dr. Barry Quam/Janet Stebbins (helper)
Barry's and Janet's job is money. They handles all of the financial affairs of the club. From collecting money during our lunches, keeping the books and cutting the checks. It's a very difficult job but they have stepped in to do a great job. Janet is also our chair for YCPO (Young Children Priority One).
Thank you Janet and Barry, keep up the good work.

At- large member - Mary Lou Hall
Our Mary Lou is our Kiwanitell editor and chief. Her job requires her to take down all the notes and announcements at our meeting and make up a report for our members and friends. She does such a good job at it she's been asked to again and again.

At- large member/ Emeritus - Michele Campbell
Along with being our Kiwanian of the Year, Michele will continue to help our club. She's chair for our fundraising and Spiritual Service.

At- large member - Randal Smith
Randal was asked to be on the board because frankly, it's where he should be. He's well known for taking care of business and getting things done. But more, he's well known for all he does so unselfishly. Randal, you are a good man!

Please send me a picture..or else I'll take one on my phone...LOL

At- large member/ Emeritus - Henrik Sortun
Along with being one of Legion of Honor Recipients, Henrik is also our Committee chair for Sponsored youth. He's the Key Club advisor and he runs the stands at French Field during football season.
