| Our Kiwanis Club is always
active. We pride ourselves on our Community Service. The
following are just a few of our most recent projects where
our members stepped up for the betterment of our community.
The following are the most recent since the start of the new
website.

Casino Night 2008 |
|
Our club members, member from the AM club, other volunteers
and city staff had a blast providing dealers, prizes,
refreshments and food to Studio 315 participants. The finale
of the evening was the great raffle at the end of the night. |

Bridging the Gap Again |
|
Club members got together and served 40+ hard working teen
volunteers spaghetti while they prepared and distributed
computers from the Kent School District |
|
|
West Fenwick Handball Courts |
|
-Brought members, both from the club and community, along
with Key Club members, together to take a stand against
vandalism in our parks by painting defaced walls with
donated paint and tools from Parker Paints and Lowe's. |

|
Studio 315 Sock Hop |
|
- set up, served, fed, danced and had a blast from the past
with 85+ participants of Studio 315 |
|
|
Bridging the Gap through Computers |
|
- partnered with the Kent School District to distribute
surplus computer to needy families from the district. We'll
be doing this 2 more times in the future. |

Springwood Head Start Reading Club |
|
- Ongoing reading program where when we are finished reading
each child receives a new book. |
|
|
YCPO Reading Program at Springbrook Elementary |
|
-weekly, ongoing reading program reading to elementary
school children, helping build a love for reading and
expanding imaginations. |

Drinking and Driving Task Force Annual Poster contest |
|
- Sponsorship and
judging of the annual poster contest. This years emphasis
-"Anti-Graffiti." |
